PBUH 1438H
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ The Final Messenger
This talk conducted by Ustaz Muhsin Hamzah kickstarted our PBUH series of events. It centered around the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, incidents that display his exemplary character and the importance of commemorating and celebrating his existence. In line with our objective L.I.F.E. (learn, instil, follow, and everlasting love for the Prophet ﷺ), the talk served to lay for us our audiences foundational knowledge on our Prophet ﷺ so we can learn about him before we can instil his values, follow and love him.
runNNur
The first event of its kind in PBUH/Mawlid, Runnur was an initiative to bring our Muslim community together to actively learn more about the Mawlid-related elements in a hands-on and fun way. We had participants racing from station to station in their groups, taking on games where they got to learn about Qasidahs, Selawats, and the Character of the Prophet ﷺ . We concluded with a short sharing session to enlighten our peers on what exactly Mawlid is all about, and to also tackle some misconceptions of Mawlid.
The main purpose of Runnur was to tackle the root problem of Mawlid, that is: people were unsure what the Mawlid was all about. We also hoped to reach out to peers who may not have attended a Mawlid before due to reasons such as the insecurity of "not being knowledgeable enough" or having certain misconceptions. Therefore, Runnur emphasised heavily on requiring no prior knowledge and being open to all to learn the basics, hands-on in an enjoyable manner with their friends.

Peace Be Upon Humanity Giveaway
As a post-PBUH activity, we held a free giveaway called ‘Peace Be Upon Humanity’ in NUS, giving out free goodies to NUS students from all walks of life, Muslims and Non-Muslims. Following the Prophetic Sunnah of giving gifts, we held this activity to give out gifts as a form of showing love for our fellow peers in NUS. Along with the gift giving, we invited the recipients to write on chalkboards their perception of Islam and our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in one line. It was a good platform for us to especially see what our Non-Muslim peers had to say about about Islam/our Prophet ﷺ, and as Muslims to share with them some knowledge and even try to clear misconceptions if any.
Yesterday; Lessons from History
As the title suggests, this talk focused on the real stories from the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and how lessons drawn from these historical incidences can correctly be applied in today’s modern context. Through this talk conducted by Ustaz Zahid and Ustaz Irwan, we also hoped to spread an awareness that the ‘Seerah’ of the Prophet ﷺ (Prophetic Biography) is not just limited to the battles in the Prophet’s time but also the incidences in his everyday life from which there are lessons we can draw and apply today to our everyday lives.
The Beloved’s Beloved; Sayyidatina Fatima Az-Zahra
Having learnt about the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and ways of instilling our love for him in our hearts from the first two events, this third event was a talk which served to increase our love for him by learning more about the one he ﷺ loved - the Beloved’s ﷺ Beloved Sayyidatina Fatimah Az-Zahra, the youngest daughter of the Prophet ﷺ.
The talk was conducted 2 speakers - Ustaz Mukhtar and Ustazah Fakhrunisaa, to enlighten us on women in Islam, as guided by the teachings/principles of the Prophet ﷺ . In a day and age where there seems to exist a perception that “Muslim women are oppressed”, the talk allowed us to explore the life of Sayyidatina Fatimah, through whom we can learn the rights, role, and importance of women in Islam and in our society. It is something important to take away for both males and females alike, where we can learn to better respect, guide, and support our own mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, friends and fellow women in the society we live in.

PBUH; The Light Of Life (Grand Mawlid)
The Grand Finale brings the entire series of PBUH events to a close in a night of celebration. Having learnt about our Prophet ﷺ through our various events and activities, the concluding finale gathers everyone to share our instilled love for the Prophet ﷺ together, in hopes for it to be an everlasting journey of love. Audiences got to enjoy the sounds of qasidah recitation, and recite and learn more about our beloved Prophet ﷺ via the Mawlid text compiled by our past scholars. The gathering was further blessed with the presence of Habib Jindan and other distinguished guest speakers who expounded more on the Mawlid text, its meanings, stories, and secrets.
