Mawlid 1436H
My first Mawlid experience in NUS was this and it stole my heart~
We all know that a day consists of 24 hours. So why 23 hours?
The ‘23 hours’ is actually a symbol of the 23 years our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ took to spread Islam since his Prophethood. The journey of love is one that follows the L.I.F.E. objectives.

A series of events took place and here’s the brief descriptions of the events and their pictures!
Workshop: Learning about the Prophetic Teaching & Favourite Sport
The objective was to introduce our Prophet ﷺ through the beauty and perfection of his physical attributes and learn about the teachings of our Prophet through his daily acts. In this workshop, participants were to be exposed to the sports that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ loved, specifically archery (other sports that he loved will be verbally shared to the participants). This is done to show the non-ritual side of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and to provide a fun activity as this was our first event of the series.
Community Outreach – Collaboration with Darul Ihsan Orphanage
This community outreach was for NUS volunteers to emulate the selflessness of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by sacrificing time for the service towards others. It was also to increase the participants’ knowledge, love and respect for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
